Trading bug: Thief dagger - ID: 451

I picked up a thief dagger but it won't let me trade it to my rogue, only grayed out chars whose class doesn't let them use it. Help!

is the rogue shown in the list?
if not - may it be that he/she has no more inventory space left?

Thank you -- I wasn't aware of inventory cap. That fixed it.
