In non-expansion:
So after going into the Inferno and killed Maruziel (won the accolade and told to look around...blah blah), some of the band members was 'Drained' and I figured it's quicker to get to the Sewer and walk over to Rectus's shrine to check if it has Drained removal service and BAMM! Evil killed the band...Should that have happened ? I thought at least it should be blocked off like the Temple in Temple district or something...

The evil force is still there, and it will kill you.
But perhaps I should change that after you killed the root of this evil.

Kind regards
Mario

Unless relevant to expansion, it should change....Suck to play in Legendary mode and then died like that after you thought it was safe!

Mario - I have a different bug related to something Teak typed: DRAIN

I typed in a different thread when I was first returning to the expansion that my level 75 warrior was listed around 15 million experience, needing to get to 187 million for his next level. I assumed that would be ridiculous to achieve, though I did have tons of XP on that character.

As I finally stopped grinding up a few new characters, over the weekend I started through the actual quests of the expansion, finished the mines, stopped off in Dunkeloch...and had three of my characters drained by the bloodsuckers. Unlike Teak, I came across the new Paladin spell which brings back memories, restoring lost experience points, and removing draining effects...so I used the spell three times. The first time it worked perfectly on my Paladin, restoring everything as I hoped. The second time, on my Dragon Caller, it removed the D, but wiped out the 2.5 M experience I had gained in the sewers and Dunkeloch to that point. (I know because I have one save from before entering Dunkeloch, and a current one from afterwards.) The third time, on that level 75 warrior, resulted in a bizarre twist - my XP shot up to 174M (from 36.5M).

Do you think his 'odometer got flipped' in the original game, and this spell helped me revert back to where I was? It was truly unexpected...I know my warrior was part of a bug (since fixed) of earning multiple silverswords going into the inferno last year, which may have necessitated the instant death that poor Teak was talking about. Though it makes sense, since I got 77M each time for defeating Maruziel...though no other character had that happen. Bizarre. So it may be this spell helped fix a bug, though if I'm supposed to recover the 2.5 M from my DC in normal play, it didn't work. (Or does this spell get better with mastery?)

Todd

Hi Todd,

I will investigate this behaviour when I return home at the end of the week.

Kind regards
