FORUM: Bug Reports

Hi Mario,

Well I've made it to Paradosa and am taking a short break before venturing further into the Castilla. I have come across what appears to be a bug. Whenever I cast Far Foes, then Mind Blade I get a message that the foes are out of reach - I checked the manual and it says distance All, so not sure if I'm missing something or if it's a bug. Once they advance to 50ft, then MIBL hits again...

Really enjoying the game, I've already clocked up way too many hours...

You made it to Paradosa already?
Wow, that is fast. If you keep this speed we will need to have an Add On ready by beginning of next year.  :)

Hello calmrider,

thank you for reporting this. I will look into it asap!

Regards
Mario

Hi again,

Both spells have indeed maximum distances.
Mind Blade 30"
Odin's Court 40"

This is not stated in the manual.
All foes means, that it will affect every combat group within range.

BUT there is indeed a bug: If there are many enemygroups, both within and out of reach, the spells will affect all, because actually only the first hit enemy is taken into account when determining if the spell/target is in reach.

I am not sure how I will fix this:
1. allowing the spells to really affect all foes, regardless of distance
2. allowing to affect only the ones in range ;-)

I should make a voting on this one ;-)

Regards
Mario

I'd go with option 2, I think option 1 would overpower those spells...

Thanks!

I would also vote for option 2

option 2

Agreed option 2 makes most sense.. If i was running a table top game thats the way it would go..

"yay i voted on something"

Option 1. It IS Mindblade after all. It is the grandfather of all BT offensive spells. You always told yourself ,' if I can just make it to Mind Blade, then all the effort to get this Sorceror will be worth it...'

Im fine with either way as long as the manual gets updated.
