FORUM: Bug Reports

This topic was started by malkyre on 07/12/2014, 23:10:13

Good afternoon!

First, I would like to give a big thank you for this game. I have been wanting something like this for a long time having played the originals on PC. I played "The Quest" series on my phone, but I am not really sure how I missed finding this game over the past several years. I bought the compendium and several other goodies too... You can never have enough storage space!

So, I purchased this game a few days ago and have been happily creating characters since that time (classic mode of course so that I can try for super rolls on the dice). I looted all of the items from the pre-made characters, and then began exploring the town.

Now, here is the problem I am having... and I'm not sure if this is a bug or if I am doing something wrong... In every store that I go into, when i try to sell the items that I looted from the starting cast my inventory is empty... the game tells me that there is nothing to sell. However, I check the players inventory and there the items are... I click on the sell button, select any of my characters, and nothing there... Am I doing something wrong? Can you not sell items in the first town... I tried the weapon shop, the armor shop, and the shop outside of town that is open at night... nothing.

Thank you in advance for any and all help, and thanks again for a wonderful game! :D 8-)

Cheers,
M

P.S. I also sent an email to the support address.

Hi M :-)

no bug, I changed the starter items some while ago to be unsellable.
If something can't be sold, it won't show in the shops.

I know Shaun explained this incorrect on TA... but there are certainly other means to cheat some money ;-)

kind regards
Mario

I just bought the compendium.
It is supposed to be available from within the game, but I can't find it.
How do I find it?

You should be able to access it from the Settings / Help screen.
It replaces the included manual - you can switch back and forth between the two after the purchase.

If this does not help, try the Restore Purchases button.

Kind regards
