In one situation I crashed the game several times in quick succession. This was by "clicking" (touching) the chest after successfully picking the lock, right after the first message (about the success) but before the following messages (about the rewards).

Sorry but I don't remember which chest. It was either in the tower or in the dungeon (the early ones just outside of the castle).
