I switched to 2.16.
My high level Arch Mages still have attributes over the 30/40 limits. As I go up a level those over the limit attributes still can each go up by 1 (DEX went from 69 to 70.) Neither of these situations was what I was expecting.


hm that is not good.
The stats should remain at their current level, that was intended. But they shouldn't go up further.

Found the bug, sorry.

Would you like to have all stats capped to 30/40 for existing characters as well?
I am not sure about this change, but it would of course make sense.

I think for balance reasons the stats should be lowered for existing characters to the new 30/40 limits. If i remember, one of the reasons for the limits was to make encounter monsters easier to create for future expansion. It seems unreasonable for my characters to be allowed to be forty or more points over the max just because they already exist.

I do think the excess points should be redistributed to attributes that are below the limit until the 170 max is reached, though...
