Where might I get a Thief Dagger? - ID: 696

Hey

I am rather attached to the challenge of using my Hobbit Rogue as a stealth assassin and would love to get his hands on a Thief Dagger.

Have gone through all the early levels and not seen one. He is now level 11 (as are most of my party) and is now struggling to do much damage with his poison dagger.

Any suggestions as to places I should grind in the hopes of getting one? The Crypt, maybe? There are plenty of chests that drop from fallen foes down there...

I found a few in the abandoned crypts. You can eventually buy one in Annsharbour and Paradosa, IIRC.

I found one in the annsharbor sewers as random loot. Apparently sewer rats have apposable thumbs and can use daggers. Meh

You can find a Thief Dagger in random drops in tha Forgotten Crypt or in the Bandit's Cave in addition to the areas mentioned above.
