It would be really nice if there was a quick visual way to see what was equipped or nothing in each position (head,chest,feet, et cetera). Perhaps an overlay on the character picture?

A paper doll would be useful if only so that you can see what slots are open.
I think it would be useful to be able to go to the character screen in the middle of combat so you can see what you have in inventory and what your spell options are.
I think an autosave function would be useful (either upon an event or whenever you change zones) to prevent loss if the game crashes.
I think a slight delay after the last combat message would be useful.
