Ugh! Stuck again in the burial mound - ID: 466

Ok, I finally got in, added a bard (for travelers' ditty), and leveled up my spell casters a bunch of times. So far so good. I got into the room behind the magic door, the one with all the statues and dead clan leaders -- and I fought one group of them. Again, so far so good. This opened up another door and staircase, but the room below (which oddly contains trees and ponds) seems to be a dead- end. I've gone back thru the mound, but I can't find what I'm missing to open this up further. Please help!


Explore the room with the 'trees and ponds'. One space will trigger a magic mouth riddle.

Ok. Finally made it to tHe burial mound...my warriors are level 14 and I'm getting my butt kicked real bad when I go down to the next lower level. Do I need to do some level up grinding?


Bob, yes you almost certainly do. I have level 20 meat shields, level 5 shortcut archmage, and two mages that only need one more level before they become true archmages. I just now jumped into the depths of the grave mound and need to have my first row defend while I cast the opponents collective faces off.. If I dont defend, the party dies.

My advice to you is either somehow get an AC of 25 or higher on your front row, level casters until you have 400+ SP availible and spells that deal 100+ average damage per cast, or somehow improvise to achieve an advantage comparable to these.

I went absolutely nuts leveling my party at the bridge in the bandits cave.

If you find that a higher AC is required, please let me know
