I took a break from this game, haven't played it in about two months, and now I have no idea what I'm supposed to be doing. I believe the last thing I did was the Druid's mound, though I'm not entirely sure. My melee characters are level 16 or so, and i was in the swamp when I loaded my save but don't remember why.
Anybody know what I should be doing right now?

If you are in the swamp you should go and have a chat with the Tarasz priest.
There are rumours the lizardmen have a hidden outpost somwhere in the hills to the east.
