Mario,
I know I mentioned this in a previous post but I have found two items which are pretty much useless in the game because no one can wear it... Wool Mitre and an Embroidered Mitre. The only class that wear this item is a "Conjurer" which is one of the "first" classes you select when creating a Magic User. The chances that you're ever going to have this class (for a long period of time) in the game is pretty NIL as the goal of a Magic User is to fill up their spell book and change classes as soon as they hit level 13... So, as soon as your party starts to "mature" you're already studying another arcane field and by this time along in the game, these items start to drop as "loot." As an experiment I changed various classes with my two mages while having these items in my inventory and "nada."
So, a few things here... The Magic User class only has three items that they can wear in Silversword; Robes, Cloaks and Gloves. Why have a Mitre in the first place if no one can use it? Keep in mind that not even a Thief can wear this item. In the Bard's Tale game, Magic Users could wear any kind of leather glove and there were also crowns, hats and hoods that your mage could wear. Please fix this item so that someone else other than a Conjurer can wear it... Makes no sense to have an item drop (when few do) that can't be ultized by at least one "common" party member.

I also think it would make sense for Archmages and perhaps Sorcerors and/or Wizards to also be able to wear Mitres.
Now the two mitres fill my inventory too. Time to carry it to a mule character in the camp.
Taking into account that these caps have pretty nice AC bonus I understand the fear of overpowering the spellcasters. Having spellcasters with an AC as good as the thief (in midgame) is not what I would understand as a good balance.
Nevertheless it is quite frustrating finding such nice items for a class that is already left behind. Maybe it is possible to open it at least for AM or Wiz.
The bonus could drop a bit justifying that change.

Hello friends,
I have put the mitre on my list of items to change.
Thank you very much for your suggestions :-)

Hi Mario,
the update is out now :-)
I collected some mitres, but my wizards are not able to wear wool or the embroided mitre. Is this intended?
Another thing by the way. When I traveled back to savage crossing, (with horse and cart) my map shows only the icons of the shops and temple etc. Roads, trees and gras are missing.

With new found mitres, all magic classes should able to wear them. This does not count for already looted items.
As for the map: I had this bug myself, and thought it was fixed before the update was sent to Apple. I am sorry for this, it should work again with the next update.
