Sorry to divide the thread, but my view of the board does not offer me the option to respond to your announcement.

I think it would be interesting. Would stance be a party thing or an individual thing? If individual, I am strongly for it.

Would it be possible to add a stance of "neutral" or "none" so we could play without a stance?

Best regards,
Craig

Hi Craig,

the stance is individual and would be added to each member's combat options.
There is a "balanced" stance which will not change anything.

The main question is: should the stances be configurable from within the combat options for each member, or should that be done elsewhere? Right now, I think the combat option menu is the best place for this.

Regards
Mario

Hi Mario,

I think it would be a nice addition but not everyone will like it.

My suggestion would be to be able to activate and deactivate the 'adcanced combat' in the settings.

I also agree that the stances should be configurable for each fighter in the combat options.
Just to be sure: That is at the beginning of each round?

Regards.

Yes, you can see it here:
<LINK_TEXT text="http://silversword-rpg.com/phpbb3/viewt ... ?f=2&t=940">http://silversword-rpg.com/phpbb3/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=940</LINK_TEXT>

Right now, I think it would be best to put it after the "Defend" option.

Kind regards
Mario

I was thinking something else in this vein that might be handy is being able to set the fourth character as either front or back row. I like the idea of setting him back as a ranges fighter. Perhaps even full blown party formations ala wizardry 8

I also couldn't reply to the announcement.

I like it. I second the request to have it a turn-onable option in settings, not for me but to stop complaints from those that don't want it.
