Every time I fight this creature and I get him down to around the 50% mark, he "goes on a rampage" and my entire party is rendered DEAD.

Since this dragon is immune to all offensive magic, including Hesitation, all I am left to do is to attack with melee weapons. I seem to have the battle in control until he "goes on a rampage", and just like that (snap of a finger) I'm DEAD!

Any suggestions?

I am Not that far in the Game, but maybe you can use the " Second Chance" Spell just before the fight. This will Leave 1 hp to the Character if he should go Below Zero...

Guardian angel spell will protect the entire party in this manner

Thanks for the ideas. I've been thinking about researching some spells to see how I can protect myself. I appreciate the suggestions. I'll go give it a try!
