After reading all those comments about Silversword's UI, I am really looking forward to Brian Fargo's approach ;-)

- ) :) :) yes, i'm also looking forward this too ;)
It may even do some good for Silversword. The problem with Silversword UI is that gamers on IOS are not used to this kind of interface (except for people who have played and enjoyed the old Bard's Tale games). Maybe these games will help people understand why Silversword has this UI.
And I'm sure that after they played these retro games, they will find Silversword UI very modern :)
UI preferences are very individual. My case may be more extreme than most because I am recovering from a stroke.
After I bought this game the "upgraded for iPad" Bard's Tale came out, which I bought based on needing iPad apps Silversword's maker's obvious love of the original. Well they can call it what they want and developers can argue amongst themselves on what "original" means, but I need old-style gameplay so it is Silversword for me. I don't want voice acting nor animation, just give me a well thought out game. My choice is to hope for more like Silversword and that Bard's Tale returns to it's roots before porting.

I would sell my soul for a remake or adaption of Wizardry VII + VIII on iOS devices ;-)
Well... if you want to get things done... ;-)

Ooh, does that mean you're working on it? ;)

Let's say, if I would publish a sequel to Silversword, it would have many adaptions from W8 (ruleset, real-time vs. round-based combat etc.). But that is a question of resources, that has yet to be answered.

Right, at some point it gets tough to do (almost) everything yourself. But of course we would love to get a sequel, or an expansion, to this great game :)

wizardry VII was really really cool. One of my most loved rpgs.
Great sounds, great ambience, good story line. :P
I liked munkharama very much, the giants in the forest, the Ratkin Razuka, the crazy Danes.
Blindmice, Brother TShober and many more NPCs.

I just bought bards tale. Played it way back when and was excited to see it available. However, after spending a little time with it, I just can't cope with the interface and the horrible graphics. Bad purchase...especially if you plan to play it on an iPhone or I touch
