No Dragon Egg? - ID: 1032

Hello fellow Bards!
I need the help of the community. I have gone through the Inferno and found Mazuriel, and defeated him in combat. I walk to the treasure chest behind him and... get teleported to Savage Crossing.
I have no idea how to get the Dragon Egg. I will admit that we did not kick every wall in every direction this second trip through the Inferno, but I feel that I was fairly thorough in my explorations between the two trips!
Thinking it might be in that chest, I decided to go back into the Inferno. I found my way back to that same grass bridge and am now being told "The Forces of Good will not let you pass," or similar. Does this sound familiar to anyone? It seems my only option is now to go backwards through the Inferno! Unless perhaps I drop the Symbol of Mazuriel? But I am hesitant to do that.
It seems that my fair adventurers are stuck. At an impasse. Between a bridge and a lava place. Is there any guidance out there?

Unfortunately I am playing Legend mode and cannot check the inferno map yet. There is a way back out which if I remember correctly does not require traversing the lava. Try working your way back the way you came to the "forces of good" roadblock. Check the walls as you go. Sorry I cannot be more helpful, but I am certain there is a way back out.
