Does the Force Shield have any magical properties. Only warriors can use them but them seem like a regular ole shield even though the description says "Of unknown origin, but glowing bluish"

Force shield of forgus, which I just got from grinding in the coastlands, might be best shield in game at 13 ac. Other than that it seems like a regular shield
