Any tips on how to get in? Rubies? There is no where to go it seems unless u get through the doors.
I'm thinking rubies, and diamonds can be traded for 2 rubies, but if you already traded some of those diamonds in, I am not sure how to get more--they seem a very rare drop in inferno or coast lands
Coffee, you do indeed need 10 rubies in your inventory in order to get the wizard to active the portal.
As ez1 pointed out you can find rubies and diamonds during your adventure in all the different areas. Of which you can trade diamonds for rubies in Karilan Andur, or rubies for diamonds.
In my new run through the past week after the expansion was released, i quickly collected around 30+ of each so it shouldn't take you too long to collection them.
My suggestion is to grind the new Coast Land's area opened up after the expansion. I only had a few diamonds and rubies before that but with about 2 hours of play have been able to get enough to open the portal.
Tried Coastlands for hours...no Rubies my way. Went back to Andur and no luck either. Can't get in the building in coastlands.....any ideas?
I got most of mine from Inferno and the new area of Coast Lands. Not really anywhere else I know of. Someone mentioned the Dwarven Mountains but besides those no where else to get them. Just have to grind until u get them.
I actually was able to start getting rubies and diamonds from the very beginning of the game. So i'm assuming any creature is able to drop them. Still no idea what else to use them for other than opening the portal, and trading them in for silver runes, which i'm not certain why we can trade more them to higher runes unless there is a special purpose for the silver runes other than the low enchantment that it provides.

There's Dwarf in the NW section of the Dwarven Stronghold that can trade you 1 diamond or 2 rubies.
