Dragon Egg - time to hatch - ID: 1509

Hi folks,
I‘m in the expansion and put the egg in its cradle. No young dragon yet. How long does it take to hatch?

That's odd, it was immediate for me. When you say "in the expansion," do you mean you defeated Maruziel? I'm pretty sure that's the only requirement.

Hmmm, in that case I don't know and will leave it to icetear to answer. It may be that you need a Dragoncaster in the party....
Was this ever figured out? I’ve been away from the game for a long time and couldn’t remember where I left off. I recently bought the expansion and looking forward to completing it. Tons of good info on here and as I get reacquainted, I have figured out that I had previously brought the egg to the tower. Now, as I revisit the egg in the tower, it doesn’t hatch.
I see “the egg is still here”.
Any ideas what I’m missing to get the egg to hatch?

Draconar will tell you what must be done, and one thing is giving shelter to a dragon. Go back to the egg and see if it hatches. You'll need an empty slot in your party to take the dragon with you.
