Changed class by accident - help? - ID: 436

I'm pretty sure I know the answer to this but...

I leveled up one of my mages to L13 sorcerer, then accidentally changed class instead of acquire new spells. Is there any way to get that spell level?

My only backup save is a long way back, hours of playtime, all for a mis-tap and lack of paying attention to what i was doing.

Any help to be had?

I think you have to just revert to the old save game.
