Wow, this has to be the most annoying & tedious & boring part of the game!!! I mean really! C'mon! How much fun is it to be checking your map every 2 seconds? I have banged into every wall 3 times and am stuck. Not fun anymore. Wasting my time. Just want to keep playing, but might just delete this app because it is so stupid to be going over the same ground again & again in the darkness. Especially when you can't move your party when in the map screen. Serious flaw. Does anyone have a solution for me? I am so done with this part of the game that I am ready to just give up. The game has been great up until now, & is probably great after, what a really weak idea this was. Memo to Mario, good game, don't put stuff like this in Silversword 2. It is not enjoyable, fun or challenging. It is just stupid, boring & a complete waste of one's time. Please help if you can, thanks

You only end up in the dark, antimagic area when you make a wrong turn on the floor above. If you mark the map with the areas that drop you to the floor below you can then avoid them. All you need from the dark area is the way to get back to the start of the maze above.

Hi Bank$ter,

I am sorry to hear you are frustated by this dungeon. It was designed by me so Mario is inocent in this case.

Unfortunately I am at work right now but I will put a map of the correct way in the forum when I am back home.

I hope you will enjoy the rest of the game though.

Regards
Theodor Keppler

Theodor,
I quite liked this dungeon once I worked out what was happening. I did think that the spinners in the dark was going a bit too far though. The temptation to save and load after a fall was had to resist.

The Order of the Lion protected the shard from the forces of darkness so the traps are somewhat nasty.

But I managed to find an old priest of Gurlas the God of tactics. This priest showed me this long lost map.

I got thru the maze, and outside above, but now have to go thru again because I did not find anything. I do have the map marked, if you could move the party in map screen, that would be nice. Sorry, was just frustrated!!

I really liked that dungeon, but then I like a good nasty one.

Before entering the final inferno map, I recommend getting some tranquilizer :-)

Regards
Mario

Just to go with the above comments, I really liked this map as well. I guess maybe the spinners in the darkness could be dropped without making it too easy. (or a mini-map that you could have displayed at all times ;))

...I am still waiting for a complete walkthrough (including maps) from some of the insane players here

I thought this was a good puzzle too.... Once I'd worked out what the heck was going on.  :)
