How does one use bronze runes please?

Hello doofus,

Runes can be attached by special rune smiths. Sorry to say, but you won't find a rune smith in the lite version for now.
If you plan on importing your characters in the full version, you should keep the runes.

I just picked up a silver rune in the Deeper Forest after the latest game update...I've enchanted a couple of bronze runes to some of my weapons in Savage Crossing, but am saving the silver rune for now.

Hello Stumeister,

sorry to say but in the Lite version you can't go to the deeper forest anymore.
We closed the access by a map modification as it never were planned someone can make it through in the lite version.

But stay tuned: We are almost there for full version... except Mario will die of sleeplessness during the next days which is not too unrealistic.  :)

Hehe, don't worry... we are feature complete and I just wait for Apple to get that Pre-Release Version reviewed... I even have time now to include some features that should have gone into future updates (hint: map notes).
