FORUM: Gossip - The rusty dagger tavern

Was think we should start a conversation about other game apps weve tried, the pros and cons. Lord knows ive misstepped in buying apps in the past, paying for garbage apps. Mind, this is meant to help each other in finding more games while we wait for the next expansion or silversword2.

My experiences are through my ipad2.

First off, unless you want to spend money, and lots of it, avoid the ccg and army builders. To be competitive and not be put on farm status, you Have to spend rl money. Ccg or collector card games can be played without cash but good luck geting the cards you need to be competitive. Even if you do spend cash, rng may/will get ya in the card packs.

Monopoly: I bought it, the middle diff is fun, but the highest difficulty gets its name via rigging the dice so that your opponents almost never land on your monopolies and you will land on one or two per trip around the board. Fun game overall, if you are able though, wait until it goes on sale again.

Deer Hunter: a fun game with fun events with one minor hitch. To play the events to the fullest requires money, Lots of it. Im serious, with the amount they ask you to pay for a virtual weapon, you should get mailed the real deal.

Stratego: overall 5 star game , the online game is even a blast. Good graphics and gameplay.

Space Hulk: Exactly like the original game, though they do major cash grabs through expansions. This game is a memory hog, so make sure everything else is turned off. Dont be afraid to lose troops or you will be reloading ALOT! Lol

Slay: My all-time favorite, and thanks to the creator, available for iOS devices, too :-) (<URL url="http://www.windowsgames.co.uk/slay.html">http://www.windowsgames.co.uk/slay.html</URL>)

Will check it out bud. Thanks for replying, wasnt sure how you would take this topic, so forums wont allow talk of other games.

Nice, it has a Lite version too.

No problem with discussions, of course.
You wouldn't be here if you weren't interested in Silversword ;-)

Kind regards
