Hello. What a great game! I've had it for two weeks now and can now get the Silversword.
The problem: as soon as I come back with the shell and receive the sword, I will be transported IMMEDIATELY to the inferno. But I'm still too weak for that!
How can I get the Silversword WITHOUT being sent to the inferno?
First, you probably are ready, since you were strong enough to finish the tasks needed to get the Silversword.
Second, a small amount of exploring will lead you to a corridor leading to the right that leads you back to safety in Savage Crossing. I can send a map if you are really stuck, but you should find it easily.
If you're nervous -- and I don't blame you, Inferno is creepy! -- just save before exploring and if anything terrible happens, you can restore. Try some encounters and I think you'll start learning what you can handle easily and what to run from. (Running usually works, but not always.) As I recall, Blind Guardians are the worst, as they can drain levels.
Hi Visstar, thank you for your answer
Unfortunately i didn't find the way from inferno to savage yet. I explored most of inferno, but no way out. I was surprised by the transfer so i did not have any potions with me and i ran out of magic very fast, especially in the lava fields.
Wow, you made it a long, long way! The way back to Savage Crossing is at the beginning. along the corridor that just goes around in circles, just past the hidden door that got you into the main part of the maze. I only see a few options for you:
1. Find your way back. If you are past or even partway into the lava field, this may not be an option, but if you can get back to the maze with hidden walls, there are several teleports that take you to the beginning, where you can find the route to Savage Crossing.
2. In-App Purchase. Either a Crystal of Safety, which will teleport you back to Castle Cranbourgh, or a Potion of Divine Restoration, which will restore life, all hit point, and all spell points to the party, would save you.
3. Give up and revert to a save point before getting the Silversword. If you're going to resort to this, you may as well try your hand at competing the task and killing Maruziel. It won't be easy with no spell points, but it's barely possible if the party is otherwise in good shape. You'll need a monk with knuckledusters and a bard with good horns to have a shot, though.
