I have gone through the infernal lava field twice now but I can not find him. where is he?

You need to get to the safe area of the lava field in the far north west corner of the Inferno map. Mazuriel is in a grassy area at the far south central area of the map. Generally you get there by working your way south down the west and east sides of the map (where the map is wrapping). If you find this pathway, get to the grassy area, and defeat Maruziel, you will not have to go back through the lava.
