1. Do I need a paladin? I recall towards the end I needed to be equipped with the stone blade.

2. I am correct that a Dragoncaller is a necessity. Otherwise, I know I can't get into the initial plane.

3. Is a bard even worth it? Never played with one, trying it now. Some of the horns are awesome.

4. Do I need a rogue? I recall some chests need one, but the major ones seemed to be ok for spell casters. Will I miss something vital without a rogue?

5. I think 2 arch mages are necessary, one to case hesitation for certain. Dragon caller spell points never get too high.

Thanks

1. Do I need a paladin? Only to get the dragon egg from the dragon tower as it requires you equip the stone blade. Once that is done, you don't need a Paladin anymore.

2. I am correct that a Dragoncaller is a necessity. Correct, you need Dragon Flight to get into first plane.

3. Is a bard even worth it? Almost a necessity in the expansion due to all those spell drain areas in the dungeons. Otherwise you'll use up all your harmonic gems. Equip him with the Dragonbone Bow and a Singing Sword for boss battles makes him a decent contributor during battles. Plus some horns do 3k+ damage.

4. Do I need a rogue? I recall some chests need one, but the major ones seemed to be ok for spell casters. Will I miss something vital without a rogue? No, but you will miss out on lots of loot that only your Rogue can open. Also, he's a badass in combat once his Master Thief ability gets above 20+ and he gets a Assasine in the early part of the expansion.

5. I think 2 arch mages are necessary, one to case hesitation for certain. Dragon caller spell points never get too high. I'd go with 2 as one is not enough to deal with all the mass groups of mobs in the expansion.

Thanks...I am only a portion into my second go-around and I have already found stuff I missed on the expansion. Everyone must do the coast lands...I completely missed them the first time I did the expansion. Great farming for experience, although I am 3 rubies away and thoroughly frustrated. This coast lands, however, is cool. Mario, once again, excellent!

Remember, you can buy rubies

at Watertop. This store resets inventory every three days or so. If you are not opposed to rerolling, save at the inn there and reload, go to the shop and check what's for sale. If it's not rubies (or whatever else you're looking for (a particular ingredient, for example, reload and check again. If the inventory stays constant, come back the next day...
