Hi all,
Is there an item list that actually details what an item does? I have a ring of force and the item descriptions a bit vague, 'pulses with magic' could do with a bit mor detail,

There is a list in the Compendium, but it does not tell you exactly what some items do. And it is a little out of date so some items may not be listed.
The Ring of Power tells you what it does in the combat text stream when you use it. If I remember correctly, it casts Giant Weight.
The Ring of Destruction also tells you what it does in the combat text stream. It casts Sodar's Cleansing.
Unfortunately, the Sorcerers Hood does not tell you. Again if I remember correctly they cast Mage Maelstrom.
For all three of these items when you use them you get credit for casting the spell, so you can verify them by checking the spell cast percent numbers for each caster.
Ring of Force regenerates your spell points. I agree the item descriptions need more detail but maybe it's intended so you have to experiment a bit to see what these items do.
