I'm supposed to find a symbol or token of evil in the dwarves mines. I've checked the mines but I do not see anything new there... I seep people talk about "miners deep" but I cannot find such a place.
From the lost forest, there is a connection on the north section to watertop. You need to go through the gate in watertop first (requires 10 rubies to open)...that will at least put you in the expansion area. The deeper mines will be found once you explore that a bit.
Thanks for the reply, I've looked all around Watertop, I've ventured into the Iron Valley and got the Assassine from a dungeon there. There is a battle (the infamous stalkers and prowlers) that I can't even touch, but I read that the road that battle is blocking doesn't lead to anything.
Ok -- the deeper mines entrance is on the south east side of iron valley..need to work your way through a lot of hidden trees
I found the deeper mines through the dwarven mines, from a hidden entrance to the left as soon as you enter the front door.
Once I was there, I found the exit to Iron Valley, which I found previously through Watertop. So multiple ways to go.

I went to Miner's Deep via the secret entrance @ the Dwarven Mines, and walked out of the door in Iron Valley...unfortunately I can't get back through said door. I can't go south because of the nasty Prowler/Stalker group. I ran into a quest to escort people and I've been wandering around in the new areas trying to find a city/camp to dismiss characters and hopefully rest up, could someone lead me in the right direction?
Just use return to beacon to get past the prowlers. U can set a beacon on each side of the prowlers to move back and forth.
I felt stupid today when I realized that the prowlers/stalkers fight would boot me to the South if I engaged and ran, thus allowing me to get back where I wanted to go :)
There is a key to the mines
Recall of Arsyth is not supposed to work on guests in your party.
Same is true for Travel to Beacon.
However, this will work to get around the prowlers when it's just your normal party members.
