Hi there.
Recently encountered a priest called Rectus who told me that my shard of life was a bit grubby. Now there's a line I never thought I'd write! I think he told me to look in a forest for a shell to cleanse my shard. Unfortunately, when I called on him again for more details, he'd gone on permanent vacation.
I am a little lost without Rectus. I was hoping he would let me know which map I should be searching. I tried the shrine in the Deeper Forest. This offers a full cleansing service at 100000G a pop! I'm sure this is an unreasonable price in a competitive market.
Can anyone help me to find the shell? Any hints or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

There is no competitive market. It's a monopoly.
So is that the end? I get the cleansing shell for $100k, head back to brother Rectus in the sewers the game is over?
A little anti-climatic. No big final battle?
Great game overall, but wasn't that hard...am I missing something?
My archmages are only at level 3, surely there must be more!
You are missing something indeed.
After having aquired the shell, you should be able to proceed in the sewers.
Please send me your last saved game right before the game exits because this is a bug then.

They are labeled gameSave1-5.

I found another post that said I was supposed to get a message that Brother Rectus was dead IX XIII. Or something to that effect. I used that information to find the teleport to inferno without visiting Brother Rectus. It appears I'm able to continue the game although I haven't had time to explore the inferno area much.
I'll try to email you the last save file before the game exited, which I saved next to the office. It appears I cannot attach the file to this message.
