So I understand that it increases spell levels while casting, but what exactly does that do? It doesnt increase spell mastery- they all cast for the base sp cost. I also do not see an identifiable difference in spell damage between my level 15 magician and level 13 sorcerer (who has magic talent +2) when they cast starstorm... Can anyone clue me in? I dont want to waste time grinding if there wont be a benefit to doing so.

Spells casted from a character with Magic Talent are less likely to be resisted.
