I've been having fun in the new area, but haven't found any actual dragons. Has anyone else? If so, are they in the ridge fault, the dragon tower, or is there another area? I've got the egg and thought that might bring them out, but no.

Thanks for your post. I've been traveling around the new area as well. I have the diamonds and the ruby but can't get across the river. Any hints you can share? I figure that pedestal has something to do with getting across but haven't found my way. I also can't get to that tower yet, as there's some "powerful force" that won't let me go there yet.

This area was done by Mario without my involvement so I am enjoying it a lot. :-)
I thought the engravement is refering to the stoneblade. Did you try passing by when it is equiped?
I don't have the stoneblade yet so I am not able to test at present.

Yes, I was able to enter that tower and pass through it to the other side of the river. My Paladin was wielding the stoneblade, so presumably that's what is needed. I haven't found any dragons either so far, but there are some stairs which I haven't yet explored and which look promising.
On the other hand, I seem to remember Mario mentioning that the new area was opened in preparation for an upcoming expansion, so possibly it's still work in progress and the dragons will be added once it's finished.
Thanks very much - I don't have the stoneblade yet either and am not quite sure where to find it. Is it a treasure that you get for fighting something in the ridge? I've been through the ridge quite a few times now.

No, the stoneblade is located somewhere else. Have you explored the Dwarven Mountains yet?
I have - I defeated Maruziel already but guess I missed the stone blade along the way! I'll need to backtrack a bit to the Dwarven Mountains. It's been a while so I'll have to refresh my memory on that area. Thanks for the help!

It's rather easy to miss, I was lucky to bump into it myself. Note that you will need a Paladin in your party to make use of it - they're the only class who can wield it. Good luck with your search :)

The stairs are behind a secret wall. Then try walking on air :) (Or levitating.)
I've mapped everything I have found so far in the new area, but someone referred to an egg. Found other stuff, but no egg. Any thoughts or hints?
You have to bump into some walls and keep exploring.
Where is the new area? What ruin camp is it near?
FYI, found out what to do with the egg, but now I'm full. J/K. But, I really like this addition Mario. And I DID find out where to put the egg but nothing has happened. Yet.

Probably not. The secret wall is one way, you have to keep bumping into walls to find the exit.
I've placed the egg and the way I came in is locked.

Bit lost on the placing of the egg. Is it somewhere in the ridge fault or the dragon tower?

Any hints where the egg is? I'm black and blue from bumping into *every* wall in the ridge fault and dragon tower - well I think I've bumped every wall :?
You missed a wall. It's after you're through the tower.
FYI. Mario, I'm still locked in the Sanctum of the Scale...

Ok. I know the answer isn't that complicated, but I have been trying for 3 days to get the correct answer for the magic mouth. I'm frustrated. Any hints. I saw 2 clues on my way thru the tower. I feel stupid for having to ask, but I have to be missing something.
Ha - I'm having the same problem with the magic mouth. Either I'm missing something or I'm over-thinking it!
Try putting the number in as just that.... No words....assuming you have the correct number :)
2 clues:
- mountain half as old as time at the moment
- a million years ago, it was 40% as old as time will be in a million years
As an example, if it's 2 million years old, then time must be 4 million.
A million years ago, mountains would be 1 million years old and time will be 5 million years in a million years time.
1/5 doesn't equal 40%, so it's not right, but am sure you get the idea.
Now, back to this egg - after the 'forgotten' hint, I've checked out the lost forest, but had no luck there. Any other hints?

took me a day or two as well. It really challenged my rusty algebra skills. LOL
Yeah. I've been out of school WAYYY to long. I had both the hints and understood what they were saying, my math is just off. I'll get it sooner or later. I think I'm over thinking it too much.
Yes it's been a long time since I had to solve one of these! But you can change the two clues into equations:
m = mountain age
t = current time
Then you get:
m = 1/2 t => t = 2m
And
m - M = 0.4 ( t + M ) where M = a million (can't be bothered with all the zeros)
And from these you can work out m, which is what you need for the riddle, and at that point you do need all those zeros :)
And my question is : what happens after you cook the egg? I left it cooking and have now been locked out of the sanctum of the scale.....

As far as I know, nothing is supposed to happen yet - the corresponding quest still seems to be work in progress. The door is locked for me as well after placing the egg - maybe it will reopen with one of the next updates?

LOL. Y'all are locked out, I'm locked in. Kinda hoping the egg will hatch and the dragon will join my party and blast a way out.
Ah, found it. I never actually noticed that area the first time.
Now I've put the egg on, do I need to find some milk, cheese and parsley?
I know what the next quest will be - now we've got the dragon egg, small dragons of different colours will start hurling themselves at us, trying to knock down our castles.
Although I really love Game Of Thrones, I will try to do something different :-P

Grrrr. I used to consider myself decent in math but I am completely stumped by the mountain/dragon age riddle. The number I'm getting is either wrong or I'm entering it wrong?
Any chance for another push in the right direction?
I figured out the answer to the riddle--or at least I think I did--then I got teleported to a different square. Then I came upon another magic mouth with another riddle (about "snow breath") which I also answered correctly (I think). Through trial and error, I made it to the square in the far southwest corner, then I got teleported back to the first area of the tower (in the NW corner). Is that what's supposed to happen or am I doing something wrong?
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
If I remember correct you will have to make one step in a specific direction to get further.
Unfortunately I can't remember what direction it was so try and error will help again.

The "snow is my breath" magic mouth has stumped me. I tried a few answers that I thought fit, but no. Any hints? Then math one about drove me nuts... Thanks for the help

6 levels and 9 lava boards. Total of 15 squares in the dragon tower. Is that it? It teleports me back to the first level of the tower. I have also seen mention of an egg. Where does one find that? Hints please. Just not in a riddle..... LoL

Planting the egg is the last thing to do after defeating Maruziel.
I am sorry for this cliffhanger (not really ;-) ) - but you have to wait for the expansion now.

I nearly made it through, killed Maruziel and then went through the Dragon Tower. But I seem to be kind of stuck so near to the end. I can't seem to find the egg people are talking about. Is it in the "Ancient Dragon Grave" Chest at the end of the Dragon Tower? I can't seem to open this one, have I missed a key or something similar on the way? The Dragon Tower and Ridge Fault maps seem completely mapped out to me..
How do I open the chest and/or where is this egg? :mrgreen:

Love the game and really looking forward to the expansions. In exactly the same position as Ryder. :( Tried using 30 deitrichs and not even a flash of green on the pick lock game. Really annoying after finally getting there. Is this a bug or did I miss something? Any clues?

I am really hoping the new update makes it easier to get through the last chest. After 30 minutes of trying to force it open (and no success with my rogue via lockpicks), I am just sitting at the chest doing nothing.
