FORUM: Gossip - The rusty dagger tavern

This topic was started by Mithrabuffy on 21/01/2012, 09:47:16

Hey all

I'll start by saying congrats on an awesome game. (wife hates it though)

Question I wanted to know is I know war types level up is
16 die + con>14. But what is Mage?? 8 die for hp and 16 die for mp??

Thanks for taking the time to answer.

Hello,

these things are pointed out in the compendium.
Because it is actually not buyable due to a bug (will be available again with the next update), I answer your question here:

- Maximum HP per Levelup: 4 + CON modifier (modifier capped at +10)
- Maximum Spell Points per Levelup: 4 + INT modifier (no cap here)

Regards
Mario

Thanks heaps.

Yeah, I tried looking for it, but unfortunately, well bugs do that.

Only a couple of months ago, obtained bards tale for the pc, and
Actually found this app while looking on iTunes for the iPhone app.

Really enjoying playing. Just wondering. Silversword II??

If you refer to the version number... well, don't get irritated by this. There wasn't a 1st version - I used the 1.x series for developing the lite version together with the input from the great community here. By the time the full version was ready, I had so many updates and version numbers used up that it made sense to label it 2.x ;-)

Nah, I was actually meaning about a sequel. Lol.

Obviously one would also assume that you'd be able to transfer
Characters from the first to the second.

Oh, hehe :-)

Well... although I cannot guarantee it, my plans look similar to this:

1. fix the bugs, and make the game more stable (too many crashes on the iPad right now)
2. put some more features in it
3. add some new quests and maps for free
4. work on a bigger expansion

After that, it's time to think about a sequel. I am collecting ideas right now, but as a single developer it's illusionary to think about anything big like e.g. a game in the style of Wizardry 7+8 / Might & Magic 6+ etc., although I would really like to do that.

Mario

Hi Mario,

Wizardry 7(or gold I guess) was really an awsome game. The ambience and the story were great.

But Silversword is right now a really fine game and it seems to me not small  ;)

If a sequel comes up, it will be wellcome?  :)
