FORUM: Feature Requests

First off I want to say thanks for making such a great game! I've downloaded and played quite a few RPG's for the Ipad or even the iPhone since they play great on The New Ipad and Silversword has had me hooked since I decided to get it. I just wanted to get on here and see if some of these things can be added for the future.

1) Show Hit Point Totals for Monsters and maybe their Spell Points:

Some things I would like to see added to any future releases (I know it may be to late to ask for them) would be to show the monsters hit point total. Maybe having a small 225/225 next to the monsters head would be great or just have this shown for the hit point total for the monster your fighting. You could also show the hit point totals in the fight menu for all the other monsters if you wanted to. For example, when you are deciding who will fight who maybe you can have a + (plus sign) next to each monster group so you can expand that group, see all their hit point totals and tell exactly which monster to fight. It would be great for Fighters who hit one monster at a time. For Magic Users they could attack a certain monster with a single monster spell or they could have the option to use a spell on all monsters or a group of monsters. It makes for a expanded strategy in the game and you will not have wasted turns from your party.

2) More Quest:

I think you already know about this but I wanted to add it just in case.

3) Different Looking Monsters:

I've seen this for the rats as one looks normal and the other is red and that's great. I would like to see this more for other monsters as well. It can even just be the same looking monster but change the colors a bit. This is how I remember things from other RPG's from back in the day. One can have green hair and another one, more advanced elder, can have yellow hair so you feel like you have gone further in the game.

4) Blood on the Monsters as they Begin to get Hurt?

Animation in the game would be great (I know this is probably a lot of added work) but just changing the monster where he has some blood on his face or body might be a cool addition to Silversword. Say the monster has 200/200 to begin with and he gets down to 75/200 then he begins to show a scar or some blood on his body or face. I think it would be easy to add and would look cool.

That’s about it for now. The game is great and if you did decide to make a part II & part III then I think this can be perfected.

Thanks! :D

Hello there,

thank you very much for your suggestions!
Showing numbers or a health status on the monster picture is somewhat difficult, because the picture stands representative for a whole group of creatures. The combat system isn't that strategical, but showing the overall condition of your enemies in some way might be indeed a good feature. I will think about this.

Kind regards
Mario
