One of my few gripes in this otherwise fab game, is that the archmage spells seem a bit weak (until you get Sodars wrath :twisted: ) and because we don't have a NPC slot, I find that I don't use any of the summoning spells - the only mid level offensive spell is 'night lance' which is just a slightly longer range version of demon war and so not that useful.

What does everyone else think?


Hesitation (Archmagen lvl 1), IMO is hands down the best of the lot! Seriously, it's almost unfair to use it! :D


Agreed, it rather spoiled Inferno, especially as the dexterity of the mages should be so high by that point that they almost always attack first! That combined with Close Combat, a Bard with a Demon Pipe and a decent mass damage spell made the level seem almost easy...
