FORUM: Feature Requests

This topic was started by ColinFredericks on 27/02/2012, 02:31:29

As a big Bard's Tale III fan, I was psyched to play Silversword. It's a great re-creation.

One feature I think would really help new players is to link the automatic save that happens in case the game crashes (which was nice to see) with the Save Game feature.

You see, what happened is that I played through for hours using just the saved state that the game normally creates. I totally forgot to ever hit "save game". So when I got jumped and killed by badass trees in the forest... I lost everything. Four hours and a bunch of 4th-level characters down the tubes. I expected to see one of the "save game" slots holding my party. No luck.

Oh well. Grab some dice and roll a new party, start over.

I'm still going to keep playing, but if I had't grown up on this style of game, I would probably have quit instead.

Thanks again for making Silversword!

Hello Colin,

thank you very much for your feedback.
I will include the Save Game necessity more clearly in the tutorial.
