FORUM: Feature Requests

This topic was started by Titansiege on 18/12/2011, 09:58:22

Hey folks..

How about this... When we go into the map screen.. Tere is an option to view other maps of zones we have been in and only the bits we have explored of course..

I know this might make at least one riddle a little easy but it would be a great tool in either making our own maps, or just nosying around to see if we missed something.. Like in my case that darned arrow shop :) it would also help in giving advice to folks without having to go back to an earlier zone.. I know thats more of a personal thing than a game enhancement but still :)

Hi TitanSiege,

I am thinking about this feature for quite a while now, but I have not yet decided if this would make the game too easy.
As you might know by now, I like the necessity of actually remembering some things by yourself, and not by the game. But this is a personal attitude and I will of course listen to the players.

I second TitanSiege's suggestion. Just from a role-playing point of view, no adventurer worth his/her salt would be caught outside without a neat sheaf of maps... And it is only logical that I would be able to look at them anywhere. After all, you don't need to go to Germany to read its map, right? 8-)

How ever you DO need to goto north korea to see theirs... Esp if using google maps..

Mario,

Can you please make it so that there is an option to TURN-ON and OFF map notes (in the form of creating them)? Everytime I try and scroll through my map, it keeps opening a "note box" and now my map is filled with little red boxes and single letters next to them. Its so hard to delete them on the iPhone because if you don't touch the "exact" spot twice, then you can't delete the newly created mistake note... It would be beneficial to click a "box" that says "create note" and THEN select the spot on the map where you want it created. I'd also like it so that if I scroll through the map beyond the border, it doesn't move the map or "snap" it... On the iPhone it will sometimes "snap" the map back so you can't see the area that you were trying to look at (without draging the map and "holding" it there) until you're done.

This is a great idea...I would also like it to name the areas within the map too (ie Savage Crossing).

Hi Veerwing,

I will look into this, and try to increase to usability with the next (not the upcoming) update!
Thank you for your suggestions.
