Currently making my way through the Planes, but can't get the chest room in Miners Deep Level 1 out of my head. It was in the middle of a secret room with several entrances that had the walls flickering translucent on the way up from the Chamber of Storms. Anyone make it in there?

Nope, I can see the there seems to be a room there when I cast Vision of the Dragon but never been able to get in. From the messages it seems there's a chest in there.

I was hoping to find the answer here! I had the same problem.

I am perplexed with the same question...maybe something we have to conquer deeper in the mines to make them open? I tried shatter walls on all four sides...No use.

Maybe there are multiple triggers to open it up? When I returned from the deep mines previously, the walls where you might enter were translucent and you could see a chest. Now that I return, the walls are solid. I must have done something 'right' to trigger the walls to be translucent, then missed the next trigger, or didn't get there in time?

Walls are translucent when fireflies or minor revelation are active.

Has anyone gotten to this chest?

Little hint Mario?

Sure.

Don't pay too much attention to the chest :-)

Kind regards
Mario

Mario you like to see gamers pull their hair out done you? You know how anal retentive we are :).

Who is the ruler of the mines?

Who is the ruler of the mines?

Master Blaster! Oh wait, he only rules Bartertown.

Still can't answer this riddle...can anyone supply a hint. Also having real trouble finding key for Chamber of Storms...maybe riddle answer will help?

Keep going to the bottom of the mines and you will learn the name. Or, search for previous threads on miner's deep. Either way, you'll find the answer :-)

Finally got into the chamber of storms but never found the name for ruler of the mines. Found 2 hints on level 6 but only werewolves and ruler of the planes. Losing my mind here, any other hints can't find anything in previous posts. Tried main guys name from level 6 forwards and backwards...going batty here.

Ha forget it. Got it

You meet him in the NW corner of Miner's Deep Level 6.

Mario - I know you said not to pay too much attention to the chest on level 1...but just curiously, there are times walls are solid, and times they are translucent, and I think it is something we trigger. I assume you programmed that on purpose, so is the purpose for a further expansion, or is the purpose something we don't need, but could actually achieve in this expansion?

I want to make sure we're asking the right questions!  ;)

The chest cannot be accessed right now.
This might change in the future - my apologies for introducing useless things ;-)
I know this drives you crazy, but on the other hand it keeps the feeling that the last word on this game isn't said yet...

Kind regards
Mario

That's part of what keeps me invested. Don't ever change!  :) And that gives a bunch of places, both inaccessible doors and out of reach treasure chests, for 3.0!

Thanks for the response, and I hope all is well!

I've been through all of Miners Deep (all 6 levels) and I've defeated the end boss, acquired the staff of storms, opened up the chamber of storms and collected my prize. Now all I'd like to do before leaving the mines is answer that darn magic mouth riddle on the first level. I won't say his name outright, as this is a definite spoiler, but every time I type in the "D" word (and I've tried every capitalization permutation I can think of) I just get booted out of the room. Any guidance available from anyone here? I have this urge to be done with Miners Deep once and for all.

Never mind--found the solution on another post. I doubt I would ever have guessed to spell it backwards!

When you get to the bottom of the mines you will fight him. You might have to spell his name backwards for this riddle.
