Love the game. A bit stuck in the early phase. Does the starter dungeon just south of the starting castle only have two levels? I seem to have finished them, but there's no "Bard's Tale-like ending" for the dungeon. Am I missing something? Also, besides that fact that I get decimated by the trees(?) on the east side of the forest every time I try to go through, I can't see how to continue. Do I just level up until I can beat the trees? Thanks!

The trees later. Look in the woods south of the tree's
If you are dealing with the trees you probably have missed other stuff including the crypt. Go back to the castle and poke around with the trees. You will find some trees can b walked through ... Thereby opening new important areas. Good luck
