- steps into the tavern and looks around*
Hmm, nice place, just a little empty :)
- sits down at a table, orders a drink, and waits for more guests to arrive*
"Just one moment", a voice from the kitchen shouts.
A few minutes later, a pint of good dark Tarnak stout stands in front of you.
"Not much business to do right now", the tavern owner, probably a former monk judging by his long brown robe, smiles.
"But that gives me time to work on other things. Many other taverns are opening right now in this land, and everybody wants to have my "Remigius Best" beer."
"But before I get to work again, how's it going? Any new tales to tell? I seldom get to travel around these days, you know. Too much to do in the brewery."
The traveller takes a draught from the mug and nods appreciatively. "That's just the thing after a long journey. The roads have gotten really dangerous, maybe that's why you aren't doing as good business as your beer would merit. It's quite risky to be travelling alone."
Indeed the traveller's leathers show a number of nicks and scratches, and the short bow and daggers she carries look like they recently saw some use.
"I wonder whether others will arrive soon, so that maybe I could find some company for the trip to Annharbour? Making the journey in a group would be so much safer."
