FORUM: Feature Requests
This topic was started by Zebe on 01/12/2011, 18:28:01
How about using iCloud storage to propagate saved games across devices? I think you could even use this to move saves between Lite and Full versions, instead of having users do the iTunes dance you describe on the web site.
This would allow me to use my iPhone to play when I'm on the go, and my iPad at home.
Hello zebe,
thank you for your suggestion. That would be a nice feature indeed!
I will put it on my ToDo list for the next updates :-)

Mario
Awesome! Here is the documentation:

Love the game btw, I've wanted an updated, Bard's Tale-like RPG ever since the iPad was announced.
I would love this feature as well. It would be great to be able to play on my iPad and then, while I'm out pick it up and on my iPhone.
I am going to add my vote for this.
Coming with 2.07... will probably be going to Apple today.

Neat :) Just for clarification though, this just means that there will be an easier way to exchange savegames, and it will not mean that Silversword will only be playable while online, correct?
The iCloud implementation will give you an additional save slot.
You can use it to store your game in the iCloud, and load it from another device - if you are connected to the iCloud.
No more, no less :-)

Mario
Good to know, thanks :)
Mario,
I just wanted to say I am very pleased with the iCloud support. Finally I can keep playing when I go places I don't want to take my iPad! So far it works great.
Thanks!
Duane
Thank you very much :)
