Just defeated Maruziel!
My party was :
Monk, AC -55, Level 32
Hunter, AC -38, Level 28
Paladin, AC -31, Level 36, Stoneblade
Bard, AC -26, Level 35, Silversword (finally the Bard can kill something!!!)
Archmage, full spell levels in all 4 areas, Level 8
Archmage, full spell levels in all 4 areas, Level 10
Archmage, full spell levels in all 4 areas, Level 5

Total time: 37 hours 6 minutes

Thank you for creating this game! I played the original Bards Tales so many times, I still have many dungeons memorized. This is everything I could have wanted in an updated version. I can finally go to sleep before midnight now...
I tip my hat to you for what you created. The Mad God, Mangar, the Freds, the Mongos, the Jabberwokky, the Crystal Golem...all would be honored for keeping their legacy alive.
Question: where are the dragons?

Congratulations Runeflinger!

It warms my heart to see that you enjoyed the game :-)

As for the dragons... the world of Silversword is based on a pen & paper role-playing game a friend of mine has written (Theodor Keppler, occasionally visiting this forum), and dragons are way too powerful to be introduced... yet ;-)

As for the sleepless nights... it may be good to keep your savegames in a safe place... who knows what the future holds for the wielder of the Silversword!

24 hours on the nose. Ok, 23:53:58.

But my game crashes one the final screen. If I'm quick, I can pull up the menu before the credits roll. so to speak, and try to load game. But if there's something fun after that, my copy is bugged out of it. Treasure at the end to he path? New Game+ anyone?

yes the game crashes after the credits - this bug will be fixed with the next update, sorry for it.
If you send me your save game, I can teleport your party back to Savage Crossing and flag you for defeating Maruziel.

How did you get your monk to that low an armor class? I finished game and have been walking around inferno to gather experience for the sequel. However, my monk is one nasty dude but he does not have that armor class.
