I've been round and round here many many times. Completely mapped all of the Southern area around the transports squares and am stuck.

Are there any in game hints to this? I could easily have accidentally keyed through a message that appeared and not read it. Nothing reappeared on my second or twenty second journey round, and my Archmages are getting bored of their status being dead. They tend to last only a couple of rounds per fight.

same for me. I can get around, but there is nothing to do and I bumped into every wall twice now.
