Dropped Rusty Bar - ID: 1208

hello!

recently bought Silversword- quite enjoying it and will be great for plane trips.

I am only near the start and am in the Watchtower.
I found the tunnels underneath and the secret door near the water but believe I need the Rusty Bar to open it.
I am sure I have found the two chests, one of which contains the Rusty Bar, I think: one in the watchtower i believe and one in the tunnels underneath, so must have found the Rusty Bar.

I am pretty sure I Dropped it!
now i cannot get through the secret door.

so, is there a way to get another one from another locked chest or do i just start again? I am only level 8 so maybe not so bad...

Hi Rockpaper,

the Rusty Steel Bar cannot be found in the tunnels or in the watchtower, so I am pretty sure that you didn't drop it :-)

Well, that is funny.

I was sure I had seen the rusty steel bar somewhere and dropped it but maybe not, then.
Anyway, might start again with some new characters, and think about what I am doing in the game a bit more..

Still laughing.

Mario,

Hello! I started over from scratch after not playing this game for awhile. Nice additions such as the bank and smoother gameplay -- well done! I have a quick question. I'm making some detailed maps by hand (I'm old school) and I found the rusty steel bar and I remember opening a door with it. I forgot to write down what door is unlocked with the rusty steel bar. Do you mind telling me exactly where that is so my map will be correct?

Hi Mario,

I'm trying to prevent from seeing any spoilers, hints, etc. as I'll go back and read the walk through and buy the compendium when I finish the game. I made the mistake of not writing down what door is opened with the rusty steel bar and once I know that then my maps will be complete for the castle, road, tunnels, tower, ridge and then I'll be heading east!

The rusty steel bar is used

in the tunnels under the Watchtower to open the door to the lever that frees the boat
