I have a Sorcerer's hood, but when I use it it makes the attack spell noise and doesn't do anything. My character using it is a level 1 sorcerer, converted over from a level 15 magician. I managed to get the item as a drop from the mountain dwellers in the ridge fault. How can I get the effect to trigger? I am able to equip the item.

The spell it casts only hurts mages, and doesn't work 100%. Try using it on spellcasters.

It casts mage maelstrom without using sp. Up to 9999 times per hood I think...

Thank you everyone for the replies :). I figured out that what happened is when I use it against non Mage enemies the spell sound happens but the game doesn't give a message that the spell failed or anything to that effect. Thank you!
