One of the biggest differences I've noticed from the original BT is that in the original, many of the spells had a little infinity sign next to the range. That meant that you could cast them at monsters up to twice as far away for half damage. The big ones were, I think, STFL, MIJA, and MIBL, though there were probably others. (Starfire, Brain Melt, and Mind Blade are the Silversword equivalents of these.)
Is this something that might someday be implemented? :)
