I (think) I ‘ve finished the bandit cave, the burial ground, and the Druid temple and yet I can't go further south.  I get a message that “Further Passage is not Possible.”<br/>

I would really like to wrap up this part of the story and move on... what am I missing?<br/>

You never get past that message. (Eventually the road wardens will escort you past that, but only after you've found the hidden base of the thieves guild in Annsharbour.)<br/>

You get the symbol when you kill the master of the Bandit's Cave, Jacob Sprenger. (sp?) That's a (usually) tough fight in the center of the cave. You'll know it when you find it.<br/>
<br/>
You will need the symbol and the shard of nature for the next part of the game.
