Is there any spell or other possibility to heal level drain except travelling to Annanwhatsit? Very frustrating if not.

Annsharbour is the only place I know of to have levels restored, but there is a place in the Silver Mountains (assuming you have made it that far) where your Paladin can learn the spell Empowerment, which does the trick.<br/>

Don't forget the road wardens, who will get you to the thieves guild hideout in Annsharbour quickly and safely from the castle, savage crossing, Watertop, and outside Karilan Andur.
