I am finding the Savage Crossing area tedious.  I get slaughtered every time I go into the Bandit Cave, but wander around a the outdoors here repeatedly in a n attempts level up is getting boring.  It seems the game lacks some balance at this point...there is too big a gap between areas.  Perhaps some more detailed areas to explore in the Forest?

:D  Thanks Mario. ....  I really like this game. I am old enough that I played Zork on CPM machine when it was new!  Bards Tale is one of my favorite all time games although I found part II frustrating and never finished it.

I am playing through the game for the first time, and I spent very little time in Savage Crossing.  Did you do the watch tower and watch tower tunnels yet?  After that you can around level 8+ go directly to Loch Caetar and explore that area.
