Play most square enix games and instead of having to press on the text itself you can press to the right of it. The text will be highlighted and once you let up the press the highlighted item will be selected/opened... much easier for navigating the small menu items in game.<br />

The press to the right of an item is implemented. Now, we have large button to select an item :)<br/><br />
<br/><br />
The select on releasing, which treflip mentions would indeed improve the selecting of items, on small screen devices, a lot !<br/><br />
<br/><br />
This means, we should be able to press and move our finger and the selected item should move with it. Only when releasing our finger from screen, the selected item would launch.<br />
