A few things:<br/><br />
1. What does "SV" stand for?<br/><br />
2. Is it possible to give me a hint about how I can utilize my troll ring without spoiling the issue for readers?<br/><br />
3. I have battled my way across continents to an island where light is needed in a cave. My magical light like bard song is not allowed and I don't have any torches or lamps with me. Must I go all the way back to be shop that sells lamps and, if so, how far back is that? The ship back to the mainland in them… The market?The slums? Harbor? Here on the island torches and lamps do not show up as spoils of battle. All the way back to those shops by the guild master?where, ironically, I must go to when my mission here on the island is done anyway.<br/><br />
I don't know if the dayblade would work for this situation but mine is back in the storage anyway.<br/><br />

I think I tried the "daylight "spell and it fizzled out but now I'm not sure about that and I'm halfway back to the docs to catch the ship.<br />

SV is saving value. It's used in the computation of your successful (or not) resistance to magic spells.<br/><br />
<br/><br />
Equip the ring on a character. When the character takes damage, with a little patience, you'll see what the ring does.<br />
