You can easily spend an hour real time on this battle. With text running so you can see the battle it takes about 15 minutes to kill the Deflier and his 160 Viruses. I had little trouble killing them with my party of 5 DCs who were Rouges, 1 DC who was a Monk and a single Arch Mage -- all 25th level in Legend mode.
